Grandmothers in the orange room

Two grandmother characters trade gestures under the hanging microphone. This team-created landscape clip supplied the performance reference for the cat duet above.

From an orange-room performance to a new cat duet

The grandmother clip supplied the performance reference: the orange room, hanging microphone, gestures and timing. Two separate subject images supplied the cat identities. The result combines a tabby in sunglasses with an illustrated cowboy cat in one vertical scene.

The completed picture was combined with the reference's original audio. Both the encoded audio packets and decoded sound matched the reference in our integration check. That audio check does not measure lip synchronization or exact movement matching.

In this one development trial, the picture render completed after 285 seconds. The finished video shown here includes the restored reference audio. This is one observed development trial, rather than a promised generation time for every pair of photos.

What to look for in the actual result

  • The two cat identities remain visually distinct; one is photographic and one is illustrated.
  • The output uses a tighter vertical composition than the landscape performance reference.
  • Compare gestures and mouth timing across the full clip. The performance is newly generated, and exact choreography or lip sync is not guaranteed.

The current two-photo studio generates 15-second, 720p, 9:16 videos using 50 site credits each. The landscape clip on this page is the team's performance reference; it is not an additional output-format option in the studio.
